A New Era for JSYT: Made In-House, Made With Intention

A New Era for JSYT: Made In-House, Made With Intention

Starting July 2nd, something has changed at JSYT — and it's not just a new collection.

Every t-shirt and every accessory in our shop is now made in-house, from print or embroidery to packaging. No more outsourcing, no more waiting on outside partners to get it right. Just us, our machines, and a lot of care.

Why This Matters to Us

JSYT was never meant to be a brand that just puts a logo on a blank tee and calls it a day. From the beginning, the goal was to build something slower, more considered — clothes that feel personal because they are personal. Bringing production in-house is the next step in that story.

It means:

  • Better quality control. We see every piece before it reaches you, not after.
  • Faster turnaround. No more waiting on external print queues or shipping delays from third parties.
  • More room to experiment. New prints, new placements, new ideas — we can test and adjust in real time.
  • A tighter connection between us and what we make. Every BISOUS, every Capitaine, every Côte d'Azur now comes from our own hands.

Our tees start from a carefully chosen blank — a quality, GOTS-certified cotton base we trust.

What's Changing (and What's Not Yet)

As of today, all of our t-shirts, bags, small accessories are produced fully in-house.

Our sweatshirts are the one exception, for now. They're still being produced through our outside manufacturing partner while we finish setting up the equipment and processes needed to bring them home too. That transition is planned for August, and we'll share more as it happens.

We'd rather be honest about where we are in this process than pretend it happened overnight. Good things — the kind that last — usually take a little longer.

A Small Brand, Doing Things Properly

This shift is a lot of work behind the scenes, but it's work we believe in. It means slower drops, sure, but it also means every piece that leaves our studio has actually passed through it.

Thank you for being here for this next chapter. More is coming — including those sweatshirts, this August.

Bisous,
Agnes
